Pumpkin Patch: Choose and Explain – Preschool Choice-and-Reason Activity

This pumpkin-patch choice-and-reason pack helps preschoolers ages 3–5 choose between two pictured materials and communicate what influenced their decision. Educators can print and cut apart the pictured materials and reason cards, then laminate reusable mats or use the pages as printed. Children practise making a choice and expressing a reason in a way that works for them, including pointing, gesture, sign, speech, home language, AAC, or card placement; speech and writing are not required.
