Description
This six-page printable invites children ages 3–5 to look at illustrated everyday challenges, such as a fallen block tower or two children wanting the same toy, and think of things they might try or say. Children can share ideas aloud, draw a response, or dictate it to an adult, giving them practice with problem-solving, communication, and considering different solutions. Use one scenario at a time during small-group discussions, social-emotional learning, or when helping children reflect on a classroom conflict. The open-ended prompts encourage independent thinking while reminding children they can ask a trusted adult for help.
