Description
Invite children ages 3–5 to become picture detectives as they compare scenes and look for clues that show what changed. The activities build visual attention, observation, comparison, and descriptive language as children point out differences and explain their ideas. Use the guided warm-up and picture comparisons during small-group time, a quiet table activity, or a language-rich transition. Children can circle or point to what they notice while an adult encourages them to describe their discoveries.
