Job description:
Daycare in Olney, MD looking to hire a Daycare Assistant who is available to work Monday – Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (8 hours). The ideal candidate must be energetic, motivated, fun, caring, and comfortable working with infants and toddlers. This candidate should either start working immediately or needs to be available in April/May.
You’ll be required to have your fingerprinting and background check done (Compensation will be given).

This Job Is:
-A good fit for applicants with gaps in their resume, or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more
-Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma.

Job duties:
1) Supervise and monitor the safety of children in the daycare including in daily outdoor recess.
2) Prepare meals and organize meal times and snacks for children.
Note: Help with feeding infants will also be needed.
3) Help children keep good hygiene.
4) Clean up and vacuum the daycare/dining area after the children have left.
5) Take out and put back sleeping mats before and after nap time.
6) Change the diapers of infants and toddlers.
Note: diaper bag trash will need to be taken out at end of the day

Job Start: Immediately
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on qualifications
