Kids Villa Learning Center is currently looking to hire for a full-time position as a PRESCHOOL TEACHER (3's classroom) in Germantown. This position's hours are 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.
To qualify, you must:
Meet the MSDE credentials to be lead teacher for preschoolers (ages 2-5). MUST BE LEAD QUALIFIED, THIS IS NOT AN AIDE/ASSISTANT TEACHER POSITION. Which means, you must have:
At least 1 year experience with preschoolers (2-5 year olds)
Have 90 Hours of training (45 hrs child growth and development; 45 hrs in curriculum development). Please do not apply if you do not have this.
HAVE EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE in creating Lesson Plans and be able to create age appropriate weekly lesson plans.
Be energetic, engaging, and passionate about early childhood education and development
Be able to easily build a professional relationship with parents and teammates.
Understand and accommodate the individual/differing needs of all children.
Take initiative, be driven and bring positivity to the classroom environment and within the Kids Villa community.
Maryland Credential Level 4+ higher is a HUGE PLUS but not required!
