Job Summary: The Child Care Aide is responsible for planning and implementing daily programs and activities in the designated site area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Accurately promote the club and programs to potential club members and their families.
-Plan activities with direction from the site child care teach and/or director.
-Lead daily activities including program implementation, organization of assigned rooms, ensuring daily plans are followed by club kids and staff.
-Ability to build and maintain positive and professional relations with youth and their parents, when necessary.
-Assist in all areas of club operations as requested by the child care teacher.
-Regularly attend, participate in training and staff meetings.
-Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward the positive qualities of the work environment.
-Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
-Ability to be productive and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent customer service skills.
-Must possess basic math and money handling skills.
-Excellent communication, listening and computer skills.
