Required Skills, Education, and Experience
The following trainings are requiredEarly Childhood Education
Minimum Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
Successfule completion of 90 clock hours, in Infant toddler training or their equivalent, of approved preservice training, or hold the Child Development Associate National Credential that is issued by the Council for Professional Recognition
Minimum of 2–4 years of leadership experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a licensed childcare facility
Advanced knowledge in early childhood education
Flexible in challenging situations
Strong organizational skills
Ability to build strong relationships
Commitment to professional development
Effective decision-making skills
Proficient in the use of technology, including industry applications and MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must meet state requirements
Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability and willingness to drive and/or travel up to 10% of the time for training, professional development, and organizational meetings
