Maryland: MSDE Training Vouchers

Ready to take the next step in your Maryland child care career? An MSDE Training Voucher may help eligible professionals pay up to $400 for approved training.

Maryland’s Training Voucher program may help eligible child care professionals pay up to $400 for approved pre-service training, qualifying conferences, or approved college coursework. Applicants generally need a Maryland Child Care Credential at Level 2 or higher; MSDE also lists a limited exception for certain expired credentials.

• 45-Hour Infant and Toddler Curriculum
• 45-Hour Preschool Curriculum
• 45-Hour School-Age Curriculum
• 45-Hour Director-Administration

Course eligibility and approval can change. Check the course listing and current MSDE requirements before applying. 

How the voucher process works

Apply through Maryland OneStop at least 60 days before the planned training. Submit the ChildCareEd MSDE Voucher Flyer with your application. If approved, send your signed voucher to ChildCareEd so we can confirm the training and next steps. A separate reimbursement application may be available for training you have already completed. Review MSDE’s voucher and reimbursement requirements before applying.
