What is the MOQPK Grant?
The MOQPK Grant is a state-funded opportunity for eligible child care programs to support prekindergarten classrooms. The grant is designed to ensure young learners in Missouri get a strong educational start, especially those from families with lower incomes.
This grant helps programs:

Who is Eligible?
To qualify for the MOQPK Grant, your child care program must:
- Serve children who are age 4 by July 31, 2025, and are in the year before kindergarten
- Operate classrooms that include children whose families are at or below 185 percent of the federal poverty level
- Be licensed and meet the quality standards in Missouri statute (161.213 RSMo) and rule (5 CSR 25 100-340)
- Ensure classrooms are operational by September 2, 2025
