Alabama TEACH CDA Scholarship: Help with the Assessment Fee

Finished your CDA preparation and ready for the assessment? TEACH Early Childhood Alabama offers qualifying educators help with the CDA assessment fee and a completion bonus after earning the credential.

What does the scholarship cover?

The published scholarship model pays 85% of the CDA assessment fee and provides a $200 completion bonus to qualifying recipients. It is an assessment-fee award; it does not promise payment for a ChildCareEd training course.

Who may qualify?

Applicants generally need qualifying employment in an eligible Alabama child care or First Class Pre-K setting, at least the required weekly hours, wages within program limits, and an employer willing to sponsor their participation. Review the current application and agreement with your employer before paying the Council.
