💡 Get 50% of your CDA application or renewal fee reimbursed—just for being a vaaeyc member!
If you’re a Virginia educator who recently earned or renewed your Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, you may be eligible for a 50% reimbursement of your application fee through the vaaeyc CDA Scholarship Project. This annual opportunity is available to early childhood professionals who are members of vaaeyc and committed to advancing the quality of care and education in the Commonwealth.
Offered by the Virginia Association for the Education of Young Children (vaaeyc), this #VirginiaCDAgrant supports early childhood professionals by reimbursing half the cost of the CDA application or renewal fee paid to the Council for Professional Recognition.
This is a great way to offset the financial investment you''ve already made in your professional development!
✅ 50% reimbursement of the initial CDA Application Fee you have already paid
✅ 50% reimbursement of the CDA Renewal Fee, if you recently renewed your credential
💸 Funds are provided as reimbursement, so you must submit proof of payment for your CDA application.
To apply, you must:
✔️ Have already earned or renewed your CDA Credential
✔️ Be a current member of vaaeyc (Virginia AEYC)
