Child care providers are responsible for the health, safety, and nutrition of the children under their care. This 3-hour training outlines children’s nutritional needs, how to spot illnesses and signs of abuse and neglect in young children. In this online child care course, students will:
1. Demonstrate understanding of the principles of appropriate meal planning;
2. Identify the signs of illness in children and describe when a child should be excluded from care; and
3. Demonstrate understanding of the types and signs of abuse and neglect.
This is an online class that includes online assessments. Your certificate will be emailed to you once you pass the final exam with a passing grade of 80%.

To successfully complete this online training, you need a computer with internet connection running Google Chrome web browser.
