This training provides 30 clock hours of annual training, in a blended* format, as required by Rule §746.1311 of the Texas Administrative Code.
This training includes the requirements necessary to provide care for children of all ages, including those younger than 24 months of age.
*This blended training includes 24 hours of self-paced online learning courses and 6 hours of virtual classroom learning. Regulation §746.1311 (j) indicates that, “No more than 80% of the required annual training hours may come from self-instructional training.” Which means that at least 6 hours of the 30 hour requirement should be completed in a facilitated, instructor-led class, or another approved format.

The remaining 6 hours will be granted at the completion of two of our 3 hour instructor-led trainings.
