This course provides 6 clock-hours of MSDE-approved training in Emergency and Disaster Preparedness for child care. Become better prepared to keep children safe and secure in the event of emergency or disaster situations. Develop a written emergency plan for your child care setting and plan for the unique needs of children during emergency situations. Bring these items to class for your personal plan: your MSDE child care facility license number, two evacuation locations with address and phone number; family providers should also bring telephone numbers of a neighbor and a substitute.
Minimum number of students for class to proceed is 5.
