|NOTICE to Child Care Facility Operators and Family Child Care Providers:
On October 1, 2009, a new law (Senate Bill 356) went into effect that requires all child care facilities and family child care providers to have a written emergency preparedness plan. The plan must cover emergency situations that require evacuation, sheltering in place, or other protection of children, such as in the event of fire, natural disasters, or other threatening situations that may pose a health or safety hazard to all children in care, including those with disabilities. For more information regarding this new law, please Click Here.

H&H Child Care Training Center is a center approved Maryland State Department of Education Center that provides both the required 90-Hour Pre-Service Training as well as non-credit sessions for child care providers and parents of young children. Since 1999, H&H has been building linkages to learning for both providers and parents. Raising children is not easy and gaining the experiences and knowledge proven effective by researchers helps providers and parents get the cutting edge. For child care providers who want to excel in their work environment, we provide the 90-hour Pre-Service training for Infant/Toddler, Preschool, and School-Aged children.
