ChildCareEd understands that situations may arise that require the need to reschedule or cancel class. With that understanding in mind, ChildCareEd rescheduling and canceling policies are as follows:
Each training requires a minimum number of enrollees to run. The decision to hold or cancel a class is made in most cases three business days prior to the start of the class. ChildCareEd, however, reserves the right to cancel a class at any time due to unexpected circumstances.
Classes purchased are non-refundable unless canceled by ChildCareEd. If a class purchased is no longer needed, credit equivalent to the purchase amount will be applied to the student's account. Students can access and apply this credit toward a future purchase by contacting the office through email (help@childcareed) or by phone at 1(833)283-2241 (2TEACH1). Office hours are Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The exceptions to this policy are as follows:
- Unique circumstances may occur that would not allow the student to participate. A 50% courtesy refund may be applied to a future class date for the same class.
- If a class is canceled by ChildCareEd, then a full refund will be given, or a second time and date will be offered.
- Payments need to be made in full prior to the end of class and successful completion in order for a certificate to be issued.
- Refunds in the form of credits may be given when certain emergencies arise.
Students will receive confirmation of their registration via the email address associated with their account. For in-class/Zoom trainings, the email will include (a) the date and time of the class; and (b) the location and its address. Student reminders will be automatically emailed on the seventh, third, and day before the training takes place. For online courses, students receive a one-time confirmation email informing them of their registration.
