Project-based learning not only allows children to explore the world around them but also empowers them to take charge of their own learning. Children who are taught through project-based learning are more likely to retain knowledge than those who have not been a part of a project-based learning curriculum.
H&H Child Care Training Center knows how valuable project-based learning can be to the early childhood education field and has designed “Project-Based Learning for Children”, a 2-hour online training course for child care providers. In this online training course, participants will be able to:
- Define project-based learning and the implications of practice; and
- Identify characteristics of project-based learning in the classroom environment and curriculum
