Provider Requirement Levels
MiRegistry Career Pathway Your education and training determine your "Level" on the registry. This level is used for the "Great Start to Quality" rating system.

Reimbursable Training Information through the State
- T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Michigan: Administered by the Michigan Association for the Education of Young Children (MIAEYC). Scholarships for CDA, Associate, and Bachelor degrees.

- MiRegistry Training: Many health and safety courses required by the state are offered for free or at low cost directly through the MiRegistry system.
Opening a Childcare Facility in Michigan

- Steps: You must complete the online Licensing Orientation specific to your facility type (Center or Home) before submitting an application.
Training we do not offer
- Michigan Health and Safety Course 1 & 2: While we offer these topics generally, Michigan often directs providers to the specific modules on MiRegistry (Refresher courses available).
