Provider Requirement Levels

MiRegistry Career Pathway Your education and training determine your "Level" on the registry. This level is used for the "Great Start to Quality" rating system.

  • Steps to achieve: Create a MiRegistry profile and upload your training and education documents.

Reimbursable Training Information through the State

  • T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Michigan: Administered by the Michigan Association for the Education of Young Children (MIAEYC). Scholarships for CDA, Associate, and Bachelor degrees.
  • MiRegistry Training: Many health and safety courses required by the state are offered for free or at low cost directly through the MiRegistry system.

Opening a Childcare Facility in Michigan

Training we do not offer

  • Michigan Health and Safety Course 1 & 2: While we offer these topics generally, Michigan often directs providers to the specific modules on MiRegistry (Refresher courses available).
