Early Childhood Ancillary Certificate (ECAC) Required for lead teachers in publicly funded centers. It is a professional teaching certificate awarded by the state.

Reimbursable Training Information through the State

  • Louisiana Pathways:
    • CDA Scholarship: Pays the assessment fee for the CDA.
    • Tuition Scholarship: Pays for college tuition for approved ECE coursework.

  • School Readiness Tax Credits: Refundable tax credits for directors and staff based on their credential level (Pathways level).
