Commonwealth Child Care Credential A 60-hour training credential for entry-level professionals.

  • Steps to achieve: Complete the specific 60-hour curriculum approved by the state and submit completion certificates.

Reimbursable Training Information through the State

  • ECE-TRIS Scholarships: The Training Records Information System (TRIS) manages scholarships for training costs.
  • Kentucky Early Childhood Development Scholarship: Funds tuition for CDA and Associate/Bachelor degrees for those working 20+ hours/week in a facility.
  • T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Kentucky: Administered by the Kentucky Association for Early Childhood Education.
