Commonwealth Child Care Credential A 60-hour training credential for entry-level professionals.
- Steps to achieve: Complete the specific 60-hour curriculum approved by the state and submit completion certificates.
Reimbursable Training Information through the State
- ECE-TRIS Scholarships: The Training Records Information System (TRIS) manages scholarships for training costs.
- Kentucky Early Childhood Development Scholarship: Funds tuition for CDA and Associate/Bachelor degrees for those working 20+ hours/week in a facility.

- Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma: Must be the specific state-approved curriculum (though often available via online partners, ensure it is the KY-approved version).
