Indiana Early Childhood Generalist Credential A credential for those working with children ages 0–5. It is often a stepping stone toward an Associate degree.

  • Steps to achieve: Complete approved training hours and a portfolio, then apply through the state agency or partner organization.

Reimbursable Training Information through the State

  • T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Indiana: Administered by the Indiana AEYC. Covers tuition, books, and travel for CDA and degrees.
  • Workforce Ready Grant: Pays for high-value certificates (including CDA) at Ivy Tech or other partners.

Opening a Childcare Facility in Indiana

Training we do not offer
