Provider Requirement Levels

Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) Georgia relies on the technical college system for credentials. The "Early Childhood Basics TCC" is the entry-level credential required for many positions.

  • Steps to achieve: Enroll in a participating Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) institution and complete the required credit hours.

Reimbursable Training Information through the State

  • DECAL Scholars:
    • Scholarships: Covers tuition and a stipend for books for credentials ranging from the CDA to Master’s degrees.
    • Incentives: Salary bonuses (stipends) for maintaining employment after earning credentials.
    • Apply: DECAL Scholars
  • Quality Rated Subsidy Grants: Available to rated programs to improve quality, which can include funding for staff training.
