
Educators are often provided with a variety of different theories and approaches to early childhood education. Each approach offers a unique perspective on child development and educational methods. Montessori education is one approach that recognizes that children learn in different ways, and aims to accommodate all learning styles. Educators working with preschool children will benefit from a deep understanding of Montessori methods that can be incorporated into their teaching practices. This course will provide educators an overview of the basic principles of Montessori education that can be applied to any early childhood setting.
