All positive relationships build on a simple rule, respect. To receive respect, one must know how to give respect. However, this is a skill that must be taught to our youngest members of society. As early childhood educators, it is our duty to develop these skills with all young children so they too can develop positive relationships with their peers and with the adults in their lives. We have created this course to encourage teachers to think about the meaning of teaching with respect, and how to model respect for children to emulate through guidance and conflict resolution.
