Course description:
Children feel secure in a classroom that is consistent. Consistency is created with effective classroom procedures, rules, and consequences. A well-managed classroom is one where students know what is expected of them. In this 3-hour in-person/Zoom training, learners will able to the following outcomes:
● Develop a classroom management plan that promotes positive reinforcement, clear expectations, and
consistent implementation.
● Describe the importance of establishing routines, rules, rewards, and consequences.
● Understand the process of creating and communicating rules within the classroom.
This course has been approved by MSDE Early Childhood Division approval number CKO-380. Subject Area 3 CUR
