Course description:
This training consists of the following two 45 hour courses: 45 Hour Child Growth and Development and 45 Hour Preschool Methods and Materials.
The 45 Hour Child Growth and Development course covers the child development half of 90 hours coursework. You will gain a broad overview of the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of the child from birth to age 13. This certification course satisfies half of the MSDE requirement of 90 hours for child care teachers and directors.
The 45 Hour Preschool Methods and Materials covers the curriculum component for preschool children ages 2-5. You will examine curriculum materials and teaching methods that stimulate children from birth to age 6. You will also learn how to build communication skills to use with parents, co-workers and the public. This certification course satisfies the remaining half of the MSDE requirement of 90 hours for child care teachers and directors working with preschoolers.
The price reflects the cost for both courses of $550 + $25 registration fee.
There is a minimum enrollment of 5 students in order for this course to proceed. All classes are non-refundable

Class dates: Saturdays April 20th, 27th, May 4th,11th,and 18th, 25th 2019 and Sunday's April 28th, may 5th, 12th and 19th.
Time: 9am to 3:00pm, plus 30 hours of independent study, observations, and assignments at home. Please Lunch: Bring a bag lunch or money to buy snacks.

Cost: $550 plus $25 registration. Class cost is NON Refundable
