Child care can be an exciting and rewarding field. It provides a wonderful opportunity to impact the lives of children and
their families. As is true for all small business owners, prospective child care providers must take the right steps to ensure
that their businesses are profitable and sustainable. When potential business owners create plans to organize and
manage marketing, finances, and operations they are better equipped to sustain a successful business. In this 2-hour
Zoom training, participants will:
● Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of establishing a business plan.
● Identify the aspects of establishing a family child care business.
● Understand the benefits of marketing your family child care business.
