Course description:
Cooking projects are a great way to teach new vocabulary, practice gross and fine motor skills, and learn math and literacy concepts. This 3-hour training will walk through the necessary steps that a teacher should take when choosing and preparing to do a cooking project in the classroom. Such topics discussed include, but are not limited to: cooking project constraints, special needs modifications for cooking projects, nutrition, and cooking project classroom extensions. The activities described in this training are best suited for toddlers through early school-age children. This training is designed for teachers of all levels from novice to the seasoned veteran.
