Course description:
Navigating the legal requirements of the ADA and IEPs can be intimating for many providers, but it doesn’t have to be. Teachers and administrators must understand inclusion and the IEP process to help children get the services and resources they need to succeed. After this session, learners will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the ADA; demonstrate an understanding of how to implement an Individual Education Plan (IEP); understand inclusionary practices; and identify resources for referrals and services.
