MSDE Voucher / Scholarships Credential Funding

That's right! The Maryland Child Care Credential Program offers financial assistance to eligible child care professionals.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS ARE:
1) A current Level 2 or higher Credential Certificate
AND
2) Currently working in a Licensed Center or Family Child Care Program in Maryland

Applicable Pre-Service Trainings, offered by ChildCareEd instructor-led online, self-paced online and in spanish, include:

Additional Details:

The Maryland Child Care Credential Program offers financial assistance to child care professionals who participate in the program at Level Two or higher. This assistance can be used to cover the costs of approved training, such as Core of Knowledge Training, pre-service training, registration at conferences, and approved college coursework. The maximum amount that a child care provider can receive each year is $400. All of ChildCareEd's trainings are approved by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) to meet the eligibility requirements for this funding program. Courses/trainings that are not eligble for the training voucher/reimbursement are: Additional Fees incurred for training Association membership fees CDA credential/CDA renewal fees If you are interested in getting more information about this funding opportunity To apply for training voucher/reimbursement, you must submit an application to MSDE.
